SUNringle is a division of the Hayes Bicycle Group and manufactures a range of high performance rims, hubs and wheel
sets for Mountain bikes, Road Bikes and BMX Bikes.

SUNringle started in 1946 and was originally called Ken-Jen Metal products; in 1948 Ken-Jen became Sun Metal
Products and started a wire spoke wheel line. In 1974 Sun Products began manufacturing high performance alloy rims for
Motorcycles. In the 1980’s Sun began developing high-end alloy bicycle rims. In 1997 Sun Products purchased Ringle
Racing Products and increased development of the Ringle Brand.
In July 2005 HB Performance Systems acquired Sun Metal Products inc. and it was renamed Sun Components.
